- Testified before the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors about the problems and inequities in the Los Angeles Family Court System as it pertains to victims of domestic violence.
- Facilitated The Mothers Coalition Meeting: a gathering of mothers whom, unjustly lost custody of their children to the batterer.
- Founded The Toni Dykstra Memorial Fund, a victim of domestic violence who was
allegedly killed by her abuser.
- Facilitated a public hearing, Mothers Day Without My Children conducted at the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in Los Angeles.
- Conducted a workshop for The Family Violence and the Court IV: A California Conference in Sacramento, entitled Family Law Court and The Survivor
